Welcome to the Bedford Ward 5 Hub.

During my campaign, it became clear that one of the biggest challenges in local government is communication—specifically, explaining what a council member has actually done during a four-year term. I don’t fault anyone for that. Over years of meetings, votes, and decisions, it’s difficult to keep a clear and accessible record.

After being elected, I decided I wanted to do this differently.

This website exists so that one, two, or three years from now—when someone asks

me, “What have you done while in office?”—I can answer that question clearly, honestly, and publicly. This hub is how I intend to document my term on City Council in a consistent and transparent way.

While the site is still a work in progress, its purpose is straightforward:

• Share updates and communications from my time in office

• Communicate upcoming events and meetings

• Provide access to relevant documents and information

• Ensure accountability of your elected official — Cory Berry, Councilman, Ward 5

  
  

My intent is to be present, accessible, and accountable to the residents of Bedford. You elected me. You pay me. And I work for you.

This hub is one way I plan to honor that responsibility.
